A Thousand Lives Book Haven is a specialised bookstore in the Yarra Valley, with both in store and online locations. We have a primary focus on Independently Published Romance Authors, both Australian based and Internationally based.

We’re very excited to be launching our brand-new A Thousand Lives Book Boxes – a monthly subscription service featuring exclusive, once off Special Edition Hardcovers and Merch!

Each month, we’ll spotlight one Indie Author with a custom-designed special edition of one of their existing books – complete with a never-before-seen cover, digitally sprayed edges, incredible end pages and foiling, designed by our team with a matching themed bookmark and stickers, tailored to your story.

We love being able to give Indie Romance Authors the platform and space to meet with their readers (and hopefully find a whole new group of readers as well!)

Once a month, typically on a Saturday from 10am-1pm, we host these signing events free of charge to readers.

Whether it be a solo signing event, a celebration for a new book launch or a group of 2-3 authors that want to team up for an even bigger day - we've got you covered!

We provide the marketing for the event from one month out, as well as the tables/chairs required. Authors bring in their books and any relevant swag. We process all sales through our POS system to avoid any confusion, and then pay the author their pre-determined wholesale price for any sales made on the day.

It is always a fantastic day, typically with readers lining up prior to the store even opening for the morning! Great for exposure, and always exciting being able to interact with your readers!
